SpacePak is the leading manufacturer of small duct high-velocity central heating and cooling systems. SpacePak is a division of parent company Mestek, which was first established in 1946. The company started out producing copper fin tube baseboard and has grown to include 45 brands serving three competitive industries. SpacePak HVAC systems have been American made for more than 70 years, produced at the company’s plant located in Farmville, North Carolina. Their high-velocity small duct heating and cooling units allow families to maintain comfort at an affordable price point, with a heating and cooling solution that saves space and integrates into most any home with minimal renovation.

Small duct high-velocity heating and cooling systems are often chosen to provide central heating and cooling in older homes built prior to the invention of central HVAC, or those built without the ductwork infrastructure needed to support a traditional central HVAC unit. SpacePak’s original small duct high-velocity central heating and cooling system utilizes 2-inch pre-insulated flexible ducts, which allow for ease of installation without requiring extensive renovation or the installation of bulkheads to mask full size ductwork. SpacePak also produces high-efficiency hydronic heating and cooling systems, which utilize water as a heating and cooling medium instead of fossil fuels. SpacePak first introduced the air-to-water heat pump in the North American market in 2011. The Solstice series air-to-water reverse cycle heat pumps absorb heat from the air and transfer it where needed to keep homes warm or cool. The SpacePak Solstice Extreme Air-to-Water Heat Pump has received the 2019 ENERGY STAR^® Emerging Technology Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
