LOUISVILLE (November 30, 2023) – Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, a leading heating, cooling and plumbing company in greater Louisville, is proud to announce it is providing a complimentary water heater to a community volunteer who lives and volunteers in the area.
Since 2021, MAX Service Group, the organization that operates Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing as well as other Midwest heating, air conditioning, and plumbing companies, has recognized local community leaders and provided them with a free water heater.
This year’s greater Louisville winner is Jeff Slyn. For nearly the last decade, Jeff Slyn has run an organization called Volunteer Louisville. This 500+ member organization helps charitable organizations, 501(C) and nonprofits operate. Volunteer Louisville, with Jeff’s support, has helped The American Cancer Society, Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics of Kentucky and many more.

That’s why we are proud to continue our tradition of giving with something I hope shows these community leaders that their work does not go unrecognized or unappreciated.”
Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling & Plumbing’s community volunteer water heater giveaway is part of the MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable community contributions. Other initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to local educations and families in need, water heater giveaways to first responders, monthly donations to various charities, scholarships to deserving high school seniors and holiday donations to families.
