LOUISVILLE (September 25, 2023) – Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is proud to announce it is providing a complimentary HVAC system to an outstanding local educator.
Since 2022, MAX Service Group, the organization that operates Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing as well as other Midwest HVAC and plumbing companies, has provided free HVAC systems to educators in each market where the company operates.
This year, a free HVAC system is being given to Caitlyn Workman, a sixth grade social studies teacher at Westport Middle School within the Jefferson County School District. She has been dedicated to her students in the classroom for ten years. Throughout her career, she has jumped in to volunteer for multiple committees and groups, including being a team leader for her interdisciplinary team and acting as a sponsor for the school’s international travel club which takes students and families abroad to experience different cultures through travel.
“To me, teaching is so much more than the content that I cover within my classroom,” said Workman. “It’s watching students grow into who they have the potential to be. I love the quirky, loveable, curious age of middle school and appreciate the students for who they are. The are the reason we all work so hard, and I am just a small part of that.”
“Working in education comes with challenges, but it is one of the most important fields of work there is,” said Greg Wells, President of Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. “Providing educators with a free HVAC system is a way we say thank you to those teachers and other educators who are working so hard each day to ready our youth for tomorrow. We are very happy to help these individuals who do so much to help others.”
Jarboe’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing’s teacher HVAC giveaway is part of its MAX Gives campaign that focuses on charitable contributions to the community. Other initiatives have included HVAC giveaways to families in need, water heater giveaways to first responders and community volunteers, monthly donations to various charities, scholarships to deserving high school seniors and donations to families during the holiday season.
