A geothermal system extracts heat from the ground through an earth loop. Heat from the loop is distributed through a conventional duct system or radiant floor system as warm air. It is also used to heat water for household use.
A geothermal system reverses the heating process to cool your home. Instead of adding heat from the ground, the heat in your home’s air is moved into the earth loop or used to preheat your household water. The cool air is then distributed throughout your home.
